So don’t worry about boredom on your road trip, just check out things like the Twine Ball.KONICA MINOLTA DIGITAL CAMERAIn 1965 the original Iowa Interstate 80 Truck Stop opened off exit 284 in Walcott, Iowa. Now it has grown into a restaurant that can seat 300 with a 50 ft. salad bar. Don’t stop if you struggle with decisions, one can only imagine the veggie options you get with a bar that long.  This is the ultimate place to stop for any and all your road trip needs. There is an in house laundromat, a barber, a dentist, a game room, a movie theater, showers, a trucking museum, and even an embroidery center. It truly is the stop of all stops!

It’s not a high-tech experience, the “mermaids” swim-dance around with O2 tubes, seemingly taking the spectator back to the past. It’s not quite Disney, but at least you can take a kayak around some groves or see a few snakes and gators during a little nature walk tour (much cheaper than Orlanda, too).
